Accent wall colors

The apartment will paint two accent walls in the apartment. These are the two colors we picked. We get the keys tomorrow and will get to stay the night in it tomorrow since we are both off work.

Today Tricia and I went to Lake Minneola and laid on a blanket and enjoyed the sunshine. We also got to see 3 sea planes land in the lake, which was neat to see. We did have to leave abruptly because I had to fax some stuff to the apartment people, but Tricia did buy me a blizzard from DQ on the way home! Too bad it wasn't going to be 25 cents like we thought...

I brought this book along with me to lay out. It was written by one of the Youth Pastor's that Matt works for, Brooklyn.

Oh! And today 9 years ago is when Matt and I started dating :)

Apartment search

Apartment searching. So by now most people know we aren't returning to the Academy next year. We are moving to Lakeland because Matt recently got a job at a church there. Well he started today and I decided to take the day looking for apartments while he was at work. I looked at four places. I only had my camera on me for the first two (Matt needed it half way through the day), but got distracted and only took 1 picture the whole day and it is is a cruddy shot... and not even of the place we decided on lol

We decided on the fourth and place I looked at. We wanted something bigger, but we really liked this complex and it is in a good area. So we chose quality over more space... Hopefully in a few months from now when we are settled in we will still be happy that we decided to do that.

New computer

I bought my first computer (first computer that was all mine) around April 2005 and used it all through college. It endured class, laying outside, drops, scratches, dings, water, keys popping off a 10 week internship and 4ish moves. Around November 2008 it had served it's purpose and wasn't working very well anymore. I bought an HP.

Never again will I buy an HP. Okay I might, but probably not.

By the following June the sound no longer worked. Shortly after my internal mouse pad stopped working. Then somewhere around November the battery went bad and no longer held a charge so I had to be near a plug in to use it.

The last few weeks I've been getting all sorts of error messages and finally this week it completely crashed. Thankfully not before we got everything off of it. Matt has now totally

reformatted it and it will start up but aside from very basic operations it is useless. We'll keep it around mostly to stream netflix movies onto our TV.

I am on my computer a lot during work and if I want to continue trying to get better at photography/editing I kind of needed one. I didn't want to buy another lemon so.... meet my new computer

Baseball Game

I'm going to cheat a bit and the pictures will have been taken by Matt. He was off tonight and I was working so he headed out to the boys baseball game. It was their first game on the brand new field. Before I put the pictures though, we got some fantastic news today!! Matt was hired on at Highland Park Church of the Nazarene in Lakeland! We are extremely excited about it and feel very blessed to become a part of this church. Our prayer during this job search has been that God would only open a door in the place where He wanted us to be, so we know that God will be blessing this transition.

I don't have anything interesting going on today at all. I think the most interesting part of my day was walking to check the mail :) I did watch a friend do a work out video with some of the girls on first floor but I don't think she'd appreciate me posting any of those pictures haha So I will post yet another from this weekend.... lame I know.

Today we went to Highland Park Church of the Nazarene. We really enjoyed the service and the sanctuary was beautiful. It was rainy so while I took my camera I didn't take any pictures while in Lakeland. Here is another picture from yesterday.

Celebration

Disney has a town a little south of Disney called Celebration. It is a normal town where people live and work and isn't a park or anything like that. I think Disney just owns the land and developed the town. We went for the first time today and it is really cute!
